About the Opportunity

Midtown RV Ltd. is currently looking for an RV Service Manager to join their team in Penticton, BC.

The RV Service Manager is responsible for establishing and enhancing the goodwill of our customers. The successful candidate will develop long-lasting customer relations by ensuring the maintenance and upgrades to their RVs are completed by meeting Midtown’s exceptional quality and service standards and by offering exceptional customer service. 

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Planning, organizing and revising as necessary the service and repair schedules, and assigning work to the staff accordingly.
  • Supervising staff, including day to day oversight of tasks and time, to ensure billable hours meet appropriate levels and that service standards are met with respect to quality, timeliness, and customer care.
  • Responding to and following through on customers’ technical questions and needs, via phone, email and in person.
  • Researching and organizing services with subcontractors, including arranging delivery and pick up for units as required.
  • Estimating repairs and their costs, and preparing documents as needed for insurance purposes.
  • Assisting the technicians as required.
  • Building a strong team with appropriate skills and talents through effective recruitment, performance management, employee development and team-building practices.
  • Monitoring performance and providing ongoing feedback to reinforce behaviours and help team members improve their performance.

In order to qualify for this role, you will need to have significant knowledge of the RV industry, including some mechanical or technical knowledge of RVs. You will also need demonstrated experience managing a service team with an approachable style.

The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator with strong leadership and organizational skills. This role is highly customer-focused, but also requires strong management skills and the ability to foster a sense of community and maintain strong relationships with both customers and employees alike. 

About the Benefits
